story of a train and a bus

Why did he jump? im sure most of you know the recent accident of a man who got killed by a MRT train. i dont get it, if u can see the train coming towards you, why didnt you think twice before jumping down! ok if u dont know the 'story' here it goes... one day in buona vista mrt station, the man and his wife, i think, were going somewhere and somehow the man's shoe fell to the railway track. He wanted to retrieve it like most humans... but it was not human of him when he tried to do some superman stunt which was jumping to the track when the incoming train was approaching! i dont no wad made him do that, maybe cuz his shoe was made out of genuine leather from Prada or Louis Vuitton or something. Its sad that he died cuz of his shoe. He could have juz bought another shoe!anyway this 'story' somehow relates to our lives. We work soo hard for the material things we lust eventhough it involves your own precious life. Therefore we should all learn from this incident and don't be greedy. There is always a right time for the right chance. :)
okay today after school i went to great world city :P heh.. wanted to get a cd and a shirt. but i juz got a shirt cuz i couldnt afford the cd yet.. yeap, when i boarded 75, i was met with a very unexpected greeting from the bus uncle.
"Good evening!" he said it with sincerity.
i was really surprised and that made my last part of my day! :) i then snuggled to a seat as i felt a cozy aura in the bus.. yes, a bus.. haha somehow i felt secure and safe with a friendly and careful driver around. i think all SBS and TRANS drivers should adapt to this routine of greeting and driving with care. This would definitely make Singapore love taking public transport! well unlike most days when the driver gives you a menacing glare and does a jam break with a grin. hahaha. well back to my story.
While i was enjoying my little trip home, this little friend (a man, hahaha) was trying to have his little afternoon snooze. He failed keeping his head to himself and he leaned on me a few times while trying to put his head up again. haha poor guy but it was really funny.. lucky for the guy that i was in a good mood otherwise i would have whacked him off. ahha jk.. :P
when i reached my bus-stop i saw a group of malays playing football at a field near my place. ok, im not going to say anything racist or anything. ahha
i juz thought it was a nice sight cuz it showcased one of Singapore's trademark : "playing soccer wherever theres a field" its juz this homey feeling, lyk kampong soccer.
anyway i think today has been such a good and happy day for me, havent felt this for a long time since school started. hehe. shall update again when something interesting crops up. ciao~
