'Be With You' is such a nice and heartwarming show. Its good for your heart too cause it moves you so deeply that you cannot help but tear. Personally i feel that it scored full marks. yeap, though the scenes were simple, it was simplicity at its best. I went online and saw that they were going to create a hollywood version starring Jennifer Gardner. haha but i don't think it would be as good as the japanese one. Thats the thing bout hollywood, they try to re-create a japanese film or asian movie but they can't do it as nice cause the way of living in asia is so much different in the west, so definitely the environment itself is different. somehow, it doesn't fit the picture over there.so i must say you have to watch this movie, i fell in love with it and it became my most favourite love story. its better than romeo and juliet. haha :)
so this holis i've accomplished something so far. i've watched 2 really good movies and meaningful ones. one of it is mentioned above and the other is 'Million Dollar Baby' It talks about fighting for your dreams, thats why it means alot to me and yea, another touching movie.
The other accomplishment is that i'm gonna work next mon! in the Defence Science Organisation, not Toys R Us. i've waited a million years for them to call me but they have not. So in the DSO, i would have to do stuff like soldering and work with technical materials. So i guess its a pretty good deal since i've learned Design and Technology in my secondary school days. I must thank Charles as well, since he was the one that called me in regards to this part time job as his friend needed a part time staff. yay! i was getting desperate in finding a job btw. :D
okay i guess this week has been eventful for me, which is RARE cuz usually i rot at home like a cabbage.
The last 2 days i've been going out the whole day cuz i had to bring my mom's friends from the Netherlands around Singapura. Its such a bad bad time to explore Singapore now cause of the monsoon rain. Its not raining cats and dogs i guess, more like cows and buffalos. its raining almost every hour of the day. eeew, so not Singapore. well i guess they had a enjoyable time here. they were rather adventurous i must say cause of our cuisines here. lots of spicy dishes! and they tried a few, from stingrays to satays to hawker food to malay and chinese food. the only one they have not tried is Indian food. i guess they were lucky cuz Indian food is so much spicy-er than usual. haha. they were having their vacation around Asia since they live in Europe. so it was like a mini round the world trip. i would love to go round the world one of these days! its exciting and you get to meet diff types of ppl and their culture. so time to fill my piggy bank! :)
ooh look at the time i've got to run now. have to meet candice and zoe, we're doing some get-to-know session with zoe and ask her stuff on why she chose to come to church. She's my friend's friend for your info so yea chiao!
